This Privacy Policy explains what information PDF2me (“we”, “us”) processes when you use the website www.pdf2me.com and its free online PDF tools, why we process it, and the choices you have.

1. Files you upload

• Files you upload are used only to perform the operation you request (for example merging, converting or compressing a PDF).
• Files are processed in server memory or in temporary files that are deleted as soon as the request is completed. We do not keep copies of your documents after processing.
• We do not open, read, sell or share the contents of your files, and we do not use them to train any model.
• All transfers use encrypted HTTPS connections.

2. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our server records limited technical information for security and to understand how the service is used:

• IP address and the approximate country derived from it;
• browser type (user agent), the pages you visit and the time of the visit;
• for tool usage: the type of operation, the file name, the file size and whether the operation succeeded.

We use this information to keep the service running, to detect and block abuse and attacks, and to produce aggregate usage statistics. It is kept only as long as needed for these purposes and is never sold.

3. Email delivery

If you choose to send a processed file by email, the email address you enter is used only to deliver that file. We do not add it to any mailing list.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

• Preferences: your language choice and last-used tool are stored in your browser’s local storage.
• Consent: a cookie remembers your advertising consent choice.
• Analytics and measurement: we use Ahrefs Web Analytics and GoatCounter for privacy-friendly traffic statistics, and Google Ads conversion measurement (Google tag).

5. Advertising — Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense to show advertisements. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.

Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visits to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

PDF2me is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
